We have many conflicting images of Africa. There are great riches, but most people live desperate lives. Endless conflicts leave people without the basic necessities of safe water, food and shelter. Hope in Art strives to alleviate some of the pain and misery so many people suffer. By joining us to make this competition successful, you will play your part.

We will be accepting digital submissions from the 5th of October to the 31st of December. Entrants are able to submit multiple digital images as well as a description of their work.

Once submissions have closed, we will enter a voting phase with the public voting on this site for their favourite submission. At the end of the voting round, the 3 most popular artists will receive the prize money.

The silent auction will commence in mid January, with artists' work being sold to the general public. Half of the proceeds of auctioned pieces will go to the winning artists with the other half being donated to our selection of charities.
Browse to an image in the gallery to place a bid.
Now that the voting round has reached completion, we'd like to extend our warmest congratulations to the three winners:
Keep up to date with important announcements and competition deadlines.
