Cape of Good Hope

The Western Cape of South Africa is a rugged and exquisite testament to the diversity and beauty of Africa. On the Southernmost tip of the continent - at the Cape of Good Hope - jagged cliffs fall into a turquoise sea as two oceans come together in a surging mass of energy; an apt metaphor for the harmony that Africa is struggling to find as opposing schools of wealth, tradition and class strive to reach an equilibrium.

This image was captured 'around the corner' from the Cape of Good Hope - at KogelBaai (or Cool Bay) - as two children gleefully chased after a flock of seagulls.
