Reflection of Hope

This is an emotive portrait of a young African girl; her eyes are intended to show sadness, poverty and suffering; but also hope and a longing for a better future.

Digital Painting using Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Wcome Bamboo tablet. My initial sketch was imported onto a digital 'canvas' where I built up layers of colour using cutom digital brushes.
