About the artist
GILL STOCKBRIDGE - BIOGRAPHY
Previous careers include bilingual secretary at the Belgian Embassy in London, air stewardess for British European Airways, teacher in Bahrain, Peru and Surrey, and speech and language therapist in a Language Unit in a Wandsworth school.
Since 'retiring' I completed the Foundation and BA Hons courses at Wimbledon School of Art, which included periods of study in Paris, Berlin and Madrid.
Solo exhibition of paintings in Balham in April 2001, before attending art school.
Participation in the annual group exhibition at the Hans Brinker Hotel in Amsterdam in December 2004.
Work selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in June 2007.
Regular participation in the Wandsworth Artists Open House Event.
